Mouse over text on the comic’s webpage: “I can’t remember where I heard this, but someone once said that defending a position by citing free speech is sort of the ultimate concession; you’re saying that the most compelling thing you can say for your position is that it’s not literally illegal to express.”
Stella Tennant wears one of my favourite pieces ever created: a muted lavender Edwardian style gown made from almost sheer ruffled organza embroidered with twinkling sequins and adorned with layers of pearls from the Christian Dior Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2005 collection. It was titled the ‘Madeleine dress’ as an homage to Monsieur Dior’s mother and the runway show marked the 100th birthday of the famed French designer so as you can imagine John Galliano made it of astronomoical proportions, creating dazzling pieces that are classic, magical, and timeless - just like the Dior philosophy. The mystical shot of Stella is by Patrick Demarchelier taken for the book 'Dior Couture by Demarchelier'.
Of course they know.
